Provision of music education can cover a massive range – to some folk who don’t hae any mmsical interest or knowledge, they may well assume that piano music lessons is the main aim of the game. Wrong. There is so much mor that music can do for individual students and groups in the community. There has also a great deal of work done in recent years to make the case for music as a therapy in the world of special needs. I know of one music teacher who was responsible for a class of 7 very severely challenged young folk – quadaplegic and all. The highlight for these youg beings was always her music provision. It brought much clamness and joy to each and every student in that school and great progress was noted throughout the spectrum of disabilities. Music heals, inspires, delights, calms and excites. So many responses proving the need for good online music education provision.
