When I was looking for piano lessons for myself as a mature student, I looked online under music and music lessons. I could not find anyone advertising their services. I stuck with it and ventually found a lady who was not too far away and liked beginners. . . . . I went over to meet up and vet her – she viewed it all as her interviewing me. We had two brilliant years of lessons and as I had an old electric piano at home, it was thrill to sit down before a truly beautiful piano. What joy to behold. Sadly this came to an end afger year 2 was over – teacher needed me meet other criteria. I didn’t want to be travelling before or after my piano lesson in deepest commuter traffic – not good for the delicate musical soul that I am.
